Peter de Waal (1938-)

Peter’s early childhood was spent in Nazi-occupied Holland and he emigrated to Australia as an 18 year old. In 1970, he and his partner Peter Bonsall-Boone joined CAMP. In 1972, they appeared together on an ABC program about gay and lesbian life in Australia, which resulted in Peter Bonsall-Boone being fired from his job. In this interview, Peter describes his time at CAMP in great detail.
