This self-guided walking tour of Oxford Street has been developed by the City of Sydney in partnership with Pride History Group.

 

GUIDED TOURS

HISTORY WALKS OXFORD ST & NEWTOWN

Archivist, historian and activist Robert French has been leading LGBTIQ history walks in Sydney for over 30 years along with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The History Walks began in 1990 with the Sisters, Garry Wotherspoon, Robert French and Bob Hay. 

Robert also runs a LGBTI youth history walk in collaboration with SPARK, ACON’s youth group.
