WHO: All welcome! Everyone with an interest in oral history, LGBTIQA+ storytelling, diverse histories and creating positive change through sharing untold stories. Whether you are an oral historian, librarian, activist, academic or thinking about undertaking a community history project or recording your family history – this is a great chance for beginners and those working in oral history to get together. This is an inclusive event for LGBTIQA+ people and allies on unceded Gadigal and Wangal Lands.

HOSTS: Oral History NSW and Pride History Group
SPEAKERS: Pride History President, Shirleene Robinson (she/her), will kick off the event with an overview of LGBTIQA+ life storytelling and Pride History Group’s Oral History Collection. Our panel host, Sam Cooling (they/them) will then be joined by Jinny-Jane Smith (she/her/lubly), Bruce Carter (he/him) and Shiva Chandra (he/him) to discuss the value and significance of diverse LGBTIQA+ histories.
