Gail Hewison (1940s-)

In this interview Gail Hewison discusses her feminist and lesbian awakenings and her experiences from the First Mardi Gras, including her violent arrest. From 1982, Gail owned and operated The Feminist Bookshop with her two sisters. More than a bookshop, Gail retells the important role that the bookshop played in the community.
