Geoff Evans

(1952-)

Geoff Evans grew up in Melbourne and Canberra. From an early age, Geoff was involved in political protest. In this interview, Geoff recalls his work with Friends of the Earth, the anti-uranium movement and the Communist Party. Through the Communist Party, Geoff got to know a number of gay activists, and as a straight ally, he was arrested at the first Mardi Gras in 1978.
