Shane Brown (1957-)

Shane Brown grew up in New Zealand and moved to Australia as a teenager with $50 in his pocket. In this interview, Shane remembers the events of the First Mardi Gras and his arrest at the end of the march, his career in youth services and the establishment and growth of Twenty Ten. He later recalls the AIDS/HIV crisis, and roles of education campaigns and ACON in addressing the crisis.
