Trevor Haines AO (1933-2023)

Trevor Haines AO completed his education in Law at the University of Sydney's Law School in Phillip Street, Sydney, in the 1960s. He became Under Secretary of Justice and then Secretary of the New South Wales Attorney-General’s Department. In this interview Trevor discusses his time in the AG's office, his contact with the Indecency Squad and the police lists that named the men picked up at the city beats. Gay hate crimes, entrapment cases, pedophile priest files and brushes with both NSW and Federal Police are covered, along with his social life, gay venues and his friendship with Dawn O'Donnell.
